Obsessive-compulsive disorders often begin insidiously with recurring thoughts or actions. The first symptoms often appear in adolescence and then gradually spread.

Although obsessive-compulsive disorders can be treated well, they are usually chronic because those affected do not seek help or do so very late. Shame and fear are usually the reasons for this.

Like depression and anxiety disorders, compulsions are one of the four most common mental illnesses.

They take more and more time to carry out and thus constrict your life more and more.

Do compulsions restrict your life? Have you lost friends, maybe even family, because of them? Do you want to take control of your life again? Would you like to organise your time yourself again and no longer be guided by your compulsions? Feel free to contact me and let’s conquer your life back together!

Behavioural therapy has proven to be effective for obsessive-compulsive disorders. I would be happy to work with you to find a way back to a free life. Of course, at your individual pace and only after informed consent has been obtained.

If possible and desired, I can of course accompany you during exposures.

I look forward to hearing from you.
